2016 Triennium Info
& Registration
Dear High School Youth and Parents,
It is time to consider whether this might be a Youth Event you would like to attend and if so, take steps to confirm your interest through registration.
What is Triennium? It is an incredible Youth Conference that happens every three years. Literally thousands of Presbyterian Youth gather together to grow in their faith through worship, small group conversations, play, and making new friends.
The 2016 theme is: Go into the World and Make Disciples
Dates/Locations: July 18, 2016 meeting at 10:00am at Camp Johnsonburg, then traveling with our NJ Super Delegation to Purdue University returning on Saturday, July 23, 2016.
Who: All High School Presbyterian youth including those entering 9th grade and those graduating in 2016.
Cost: only $400.00 per participant! This reduced fee is courtesy of Newton Presbytery’s Faith and Discipleship Committee and the Synod of the Northeast joining forces to cover the costs of transportation as well as a pre-gathering at Johnsonburg to build community before traveling by bus to Indiana (original cost is $750). Our church has typically collected the One Great Hour of Sharing during Lent & Easter to help sponsor youth who go, usually at about $200 each, which would cut that $400 cost in half!
Website: Go to http://presbyterianyouthtriennium.org for further info.
Registration: If you are interested in participating in Triennium, please fill out the registration (link is below).
Deadline: Tuesday, December 15, 2015. (The early deadline is in hopes of attaining the best possible dormitory housing at Purdue as newer and air-conditioned facilities go first.)
